The Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens presents the 35th Annual John Druecker Memorial Rhododendron Show and Plant Sale on Saturday, May 5 and Sunday, May 6. The show is open to the public Saturday from 1:30 pm to 5 pm and Sunday 9 am to 4 pm, with Plant Sale from 9 am to 5 pm Saturday and until 4 pm on Sunday. One of the largest shows on the West Coast with over 700 entries, visitors are invited to view the selection and purchase Rhododendrons of their own. Local nursery managers will be on hand to help you select the perfect plant and docent tours will be offered during the day. Those wishing to enter the show should bring their entries to MCBG on Saturday, May 5 between 7 am and 9:30 am. Judging will take place immediately after and all winning entries will be rewarded with ribbons and trophies! On Saturday, May 19 enjoy “A Cappella by the Sea: Concert and Master Class for A Cappella Maniacs.” Gloriana Musical Theatre presents an evening of song with EarReverence and their guests, The Acafellas and In the Mix.
